Toomaker Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Toolmaker at a specialist machine shop in the Portsmouth area. The company have been operating for over 30 years and due to their current workload they are looking to expand the team. Due to the nature of their work a full police check will be conducted after the initial interview and prior to offer.
Skills needed for Toolmaker
– Confident with manual machines such as mills and lathes
– Able to understand 2D drawings
– Experience with surface or cylindrical grinding
Advantageous Skills
– Cad/Cam knowledge
– Wire EDM experience
– Press tool maintenance
– CNC machining
Essential Criteria
– Must be eligible to live and work in the UK
– *Employment is subject to a police check*
Hours
– 36 hours per week
– Monday to Thursday 8am to 4pm and Friday is 8am to 12pm
