Key Responsibilities

• Set and operate manual milling machines to produce precision components
• Work from engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Carry out accurate measurements and inspection checks using hand tools
• Ensure components are produced to tight tolerances and quality standards
• Maintain machines and keep work area clean and organised
• Support wider machine shop operations where required

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Manual Miller
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Experience working to tight tolerances
• Confident using a range of measuring equipment
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality

Desirable Experience

• Background in precision engineering or machine shop environments
• Experience working with a variety of materials
• Ability to support general machining operations when required
