CNC Miller Setter
We’re recruiting for a CNC Miller Setter to support ongoing production on Mazak-controlled machines. This is a hands-on role focused on setting and operating rather than programming from scratch, ideal for someone who prefers being on the shop floor and keeping production moving.
 
Day-to-day responsibilities:

• Setting CNC milling machines for production runs
• Operating machines to produce components to specification
• Making basic edits and offset adjustments where required
• Inspecting parts to ensure accuracy and quality
• Maintaining a clean, organised working area

What they’re looking for:

• Experience working as a CNC Miller Setter or similar CNC milling role
• Confidence setting and operating CNC milling machines
• Experience with Mazak controls
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Understanding of tolerances and machining processes
• Reliable, hands-on approach
• Multi-axis experience (advantage, not essential)

This CNC Miller Setter role would suit someone already in a similar position or an operator with setting experience looking to step up.

What’s on offer:

• £17 to £20 per hour
• Day shift, Monday to Friday
• Totton location
