Yard Operative

Holt Engineering are working with a global, forward-thinking business based in Southampton. They are looking for an experienced Yard Operative to join their team.

As a Yard Operative you will be supporting the production team by providing hands-on support. 

This is a permanent based position working Monday – Friday 45 hours a week.

The duties for the successful Yard Operative will include:

• Carrying out general repairs and maintenance 
• Fitting and testing general equipment 
• Forklift operation
• Moving goods across the yard 
• Cleaning of areas, containers and cabins

To be considered for the Yard Operative role you must:

• Hold a valid forklift licence 
• Hold a UK drivers licence
• Previous experience in yard maintenance 
• Handled hand tools and power tools

The Yard Operative role is paying £13 Per Hour
