Warehouse Operative

Holt Engineering are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Warehouse Operative to join a busy, fast-paced team based in Poole.

If you have at least 2 years’ warehouse experience, a valid Counterbalance Forklift licence, and take pride in delivering high-quality work—this could be the perfect role for you.

The Duties for the Warehouse Operative will include: 

• Picking, packing, and preparing goods for global dispatch (sea, road & air)
• Operating forklift trucks, pallet trucks, and overhead gantry cranes
• Ensuring accurate documentation and on-time despatch
• Carrying out stock control and inspections
• Supporting project assembly and warehouse operations

Experience required for the Warehouse Operative role:

• Hands-on warehouse experience in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Team player with great communication skills
• Physically capable of manual handling (15–25kg)
• Forklift licence essential (gantry crane licence a bonus)
