Supply Chain & Purchasing Professional
Salary – £40-45k pa dependent on experience
Location – Swindon
We are working with a world-renowned Technology business in the Swindon area that are looking to add to their existing team with a Supply Chain & Purchasing Professional.
We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic individual, who will have a leading role in defining an integrated supply chain.
Under the guidance of the Supply Chain & Purchasing Manager, the role will integrate customer demand, material availability, purchase orders and managing stock.
Supply Chain & Purchasing Professional role responsibilities:
- Gathers data and conducts analysis with the goal of improving the organisations supply chain operations.
- Identifies underperforming areas in the supply chain and may suggest improvements.
- Maintain and improve existing data analysis tools, reports and business processes.
- Drive continuous improvement in the supply process to optimise achievement of customer requirements.

The successful Supply Chain & Purchasing Professional will have:
- A university degree required (i.e. Bachelor’s degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
- At least 2 years’ experience in a supply chain and/or procurement role.
- Previous commercial experience in either electronics and/or automotive industry would be a distinct advantage.
- Experience of working closely with suppliers for pricing and quotations.
- Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands.
- Strong organisation, planning and time management skills to achieve results.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
