An established engineering business in Poole is looking to recruit an experienced Quality Inspector to join their quality team. This is a great opportunity for a detail-focused Quality Inspector who takes pride in maintaining high standards across precision-engineered components within a structured and supportive environment.
This Quality Inspector role offers variety across inspection, documentation, and final product verification, working within a busy but well-organised production setting. The successful Quality Inspector will play a key part in ensuring quality standards are consistently met across all stages of manufacture.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect machined components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies using precision measuring equipment
• Carry out first-off, in-process, and final inspection as a Quality Inspector
• Support final product verification and completion of quality documentation
• Carry out Goods-In inspection duties where required
• Use a range of inspection tools and techniques, including CMM where applicable
• Maintain accurate and clear quality records
• Work closely with production teams to resolve quality issues

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Quality Inspector within engineering or manufacturing
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Confident using a range of measuring and inspection equipment
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical working approach
• Previous experience working as a Quality Inspector in a precision environment

Desirable Experience

• Experience using CMM equipment
• Background in precision engineering or high-tolerance manufacturing environments
• Knowledge of ISO quality systems
