Quality Inspection Supervisor

 

We are currently on the lookout for a Quality Inspection Supervisor to join our client in the outskirts of Leicester.  

 

Our client is looking for a Quality Inspection Supervisor to become part of a world-leading manufacturer of composites and GRP components for industries including Formula One, automotive, engineering, marine, aerospace, and rail.

Quality Inspection Supervisor responsibilities:

·         Active involvement in the first part sign off of new products and developing inspection techniques for inspection staff to follow

·         Support Quality Admin in PPAP activities

·         Monitor and maintain the quality standard across the shop floor

·         Co-ordinate corrective action reports, ensuring effective and timely closure and report out to key stakeholders

·         Lead or participate in 8D and other problem-solving activities

·         Implement and maintain a 5S process working collaboratively with area supervisors on areas of improvement

·         Contribute and participate in Material Reject Process

Quality Inspection Supervisor requirements:

·         2 years of previous experience

·         Good Microsoft Office use

·         Commercial awareness

·         Manufacturing knowledge

·         Ability to respond to changing priorities and work well in a team

·         Excellent communication skills

Quality Inspection Supervisor benefits:

·         Salary from £30000 to £50000 per year DOE
