Quality Engineer
We are currently on the lookout for a Quality Engineer to join our client in the outskirts of Leicester on a permanent basis.Â
Our client is looking for a Quality Engineer to become part of a world-leading manufacturer of composites and GRP components for industries including Formula One, automotive, engineering, marine, aerospace, and rail.Â

Quality Engineer responsibilities:
- Active involvement in the first part sign off of new products and developing inspection techniques for inspection staff to follow
- Support Quality Admin in PPAP activities
- Co-ordinate corrective action reports, ensuring effective and timely closure and report out to key stakeholders
- Lead or participate in 8D and other problem-solving activities
- Implement and maintain a 5S process working collaboratively with area supervisors on areas of improvement
- Contribute and participate in Material Reject Process
Quality Engineer requirements:
- 2 years of previous experience
- Good Microsoft Office use
- Commercial awareness
- Manufacturing knowledge
- Ability to respond to changing priorities and work well in a team
- Excellent communication skills
