Production Team Leader

Holt Engineering are working with an innovative manufacturing company based in Christchurch who are seeking a proactive Production Team Leader .

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong background in assembly and production processes who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about team development, quality, and continuous improvement. 

This is a permanent position working full time Monday to Friday with an early finish Friday’s. Paying up to £30,000 per annum (depending on experience) Key Responsibilities for the Production Team Leader: 

• Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of production operatives on the assembly line.
• Ensure daily production targets, quality standards, and deadlines are consistently met.
• Coordinate workflow, allocate tasks, and monitor team performance.
• Implement and maintain health & safety standards across the production area.
• Conduct training and support the development of team members.
• Collaborate with teams to resolve issues and optimise efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across processes and productivity.
• Updating the production list regularly for work orders and work stages. 

To be a successful Production team Leader: 

• Proven experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment (essential).
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing and quality control principles.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Commitment to health & safety and continuous improvement.
