Naval Architect
Our client is currently seeking a dynamic and motivated Naval Architect to join the team. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 3 years of experience in naval architecture, and a RINA-accredited Naval Architecture engineering qualification, and a passion for innovation and problem-solving. This role will involve working on structures, stability, equipment, and small boat architecture in an exciting engineering environment.
Responsibilities as Naval Architect
– Communicate effectively with stakeholders, customers, suppliers, and contractors
– Provide technical support and liaise with contractors
– Undertake technical investigations and analysis of data
– Carry out design and development work and change control of technical documentation
– Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
– Contribute to the improvement of operational delivery through innovative strategies
– Troubleshoot and provide solutions to technical challenges
– Liaise with other Engineering colleagues, Production, and Project Managers
Qualifications as Naval Architect
– 2 to 3 years of experience as a Naval Architect
– RINA-accredited Naval Architecture engineering qualification
– Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
– Strong verbal presentation skills
– Ability to work well in a team and independently
– Motivated to grow technical skills and develop a successful career in naval architecture
