Composite Nightshift Supervisor Salary – £35k – £45k

My client, a specialist engineering company providing expertise in the composites sector for the design of tooling, manufacture, and delivery of composite products are looking for experienced Composite Nightshift Supervisor to join their team on a permanent basis. They have a growing order book and as part of their development plan have opportunities in all departments. This is an opportunity you don’t want to miss!

 

 

Composite Nightshift Supervisor Role and Responsibilities:

 

• Achieving delivery targets.
• Completed paperwork.
• Material control.
• Consumable control.
• Equipment and machine control.
• Raise any equipment machinery issues.
• LEAN Management supporting.
• Production/5S/TPM and innovation.
• To raise a deviation request with the responsible engineer and ensure all deviations are recorded.
• Do a pre inspection check.
• To do ply checks, bag checks and de-mould checks.

 

 

Composite Nightshift Supervisor Requirements:

 

• Good Team worker
• Logical reasoning with a “can-do attitude”
• Good organisational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, and on multiple concurrent projects.
• Interpret engineer drawings.
• Follow laminating / fitting manuals.
• To work with minimal supervision.
• At least two years’ experience within the composite industry as a laminator/fitter
• A good knowledge of the make-up of Motorsport and the automotive industry.
• Autoclave/oven operation.
