Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 (DOE)
Hours: Mon-Thu 8am-4:45pm, Fri to 3:30pm
Overtime: Available

Overview

We’re partnering with a respected precision engineering company in Andover seeking an experienced CNC Turner with strong Fanuc programming skills—and ideally experience with 2-axis machines, G-codes, and M-codes. If you’re a detail-focused machinist passionate about producing top-quality components, join their skilled team on challenging projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Programme, set, and operate CNC turning machines using Fanuc controls (2-axis experience with G & M codes highly desirable).
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Select and set tooling and work-holding devices.
• Perform first-off and in-process inspections to tight tolerances.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and maintain quality standards.
• Keep work area clean, safe, and organised.
• Work independently or collaboratively to support continuous improvement.

Essential Requirements

• Proven CNC Turner experience.
• Fanuc programming, including 2-axis operations, G-codes, and M-codes.
• Ability to machine steel, aluminium, stainless steel, and other materials.
• Strong understanding of tooling, machining principles, and tight-tolerance work.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality focus.
