Key responsibilities for the CNC Machinist:

• Prepare tooling and work holding using drawings and job sheets
• Carry out accurate measurements and first-off checks with inspection tools
• Set and operate CNC machines, adjusting offsets and changing inserts when required
• Keep tooling organised, clean and maintained
• Work closely with setters and machinists to keep workflows running smoothly
• Maintain clear documentation and follow all quality and safety procedures

Essential skills for the CNC Machinist:

• Proven background as a CNC Machinist on mills or lathes
• Confident reading engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail with a methodical approach
• Good understanding of tooling, offsets and basic inspection
• Reliable, organised and able to work independently
