A precision engineering firm specialising in subcontract services, such as CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, and welding. With over three decades of experience and ISO 9001 certification, they provide high-quality products and services. With a steady stream of work, they are looking for a versatile Workshop Operative to join the team to wear many hats and ensure the smooth day-to-day operation continues.
Workshop Operative Roles & Responsibilities:
- Soldering and/or Brazing.
- A background in working with thin gauge materials.
- Able to use manual brake presses, guillotines and/or lathes is advantageous.
- Comfortable working with intricate components.
- Communicate and work with different teams in the shopfloor.
- Overtime at 1.5x when available
- Early finish on a Friday
