We are recruiting for an experienced TIG Welder to join a well-established engineering business based in Ferndown, Dorset. This is a permanent opportunity for a TIG Welder who takes pride in high-quality workmanship and enjoys working on thin-gauge fabrications in a precision-focused environment.
 
As the TIG Welder, you will be producing pipe and plate fabrications to a high standard, primarily using stainless steel from 1mm upwards. The TIG Welder role suits someone with strong fabrication skills, the ability to work accurately from drawings, and a flexible approach to working hours.
 
Key Responsibilities

• TIG weld stainless steel materials from 1mm thickness
• Fabricate pipe and plate components to a high standard
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols
• Use a turntable where required
• Maintain consistent quality and attention to detail
• Work flexibly with start times, including early starts from 6am

Essential Skills and Experience

• Proven experience working as a TIG Welder in a fabrication or manufacturing environment
• Strong TIG welding skills on thin-gauge stainless steel
• Good fabrication ability
• Confident reading and working from technical drawings
• Reliable, flexible, and keen to develop skills
