My client a leading business in the MOD sector for Navy, Army and Air-force are recruiting for a Test Technician to join their dynamic team. 

Job Summary

To undertake test & inspection activities on the full range of Products  reporting to the Test Team Leaders

Key Responsibilities

• Perform test/inspection duties on the full range of products to ensure a high standard of quality is met, including maintenance of record.

General Tasks

• Perform basic fault finding on complex assemblies and circuitry
• Provide assistance to other test personnel as required
• Design, build and maintain various items of test equipment to aid testing of new and existing products
• Write and/or amend appropriate test documentation for any  product
•  

Knowledge Required

• ONC (HNC preferred) in Electronic Engineering discipline or equivalent
• Familiar with working in an ISO 9000 company desirable
• Understand technical engineering drawings
• Able to use Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook computer packages

• Good attention to detail
• Confident and professional manner in handling internal relationships and conflicts of interest
