Technical Project Manager
We are excited to work with our client, a well respected and team orientated engineering business in Poole who due to growth are now looking for a dynamic and engineering minded Technical Project Manager to oversee the full project management life cycle of specific assignments. The successful candidate will manage multiple technical projects at once, from conception to delivery, ranging in value from 10k to 1.5 million. With a focus on optimising contract margins the Technical Project Manager will take responsibility for ensuring timely completion of the project and of course the milestones along the way. The Technical Project Manager will be a key player in driving successful project outcomes.
Responsibilities for Technical Project Manager
– Manage all aspects of the project contract, including purchasing, quality, and commercial considerations, to ensure timely completion and effective cost control.
– Act as the main point of contact for customers during project execution, leveraging technical expertise to address engineering and technical matters.
– Collaborate with internal departments to align project goals and optimize performance.
– Drive continuous improvement initiatives and uphold a methodical, strategic approach to project management.
Qualifications and Experience for Technical Project Manager
– Proven experience in technical project management, with the ability to read technical drawings and communicate effectively with customers on engineering matters.
– Strong attention to detail, numeracy, and literacy skills, both written and verbal.
– Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, with values ranging from 10k to 1.5 million.
– Team player with a positive attitude and results-focused mindset.
– Professional and focused on delivering exceptional results through continuous improvement.
