Our client are looking for a talented and experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers, and a proven track record in optimising supply chain processes. The successful candidate will collaborate with various departments across the business to ensure seamless and cost-effective supply chain management.
Responsibilities for Supply Chain Manager
– Collaborate with other departments to develop plans for business growth
– Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
– Source new suppliers and negotiate supply agreements
– Find cost-effective solutions for the supply chain process
– Liaise with various departments across the business to ensure smooth operations
– Develop, monitor, and coordinate logistical aspects of the supply chain
– Maintain the MRP system to optimise inventory management
– Ensure suppliers maintain quality and meet cost and delivery requirements
– Work closely with the senior management team and provide regular reports as required
– Ideal candidate should have manufacturing and production experience
– Knowledge of local suppliers is preferred
Qualifications and experience for Supply Chain Manager
– Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
– Proven experience as a Supply Chain Manager or in a similar role
– Strong negotiation and communication skills
– Proficient in supply chain management software
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
– Knowledge of local suppliers and market trends
