Stores Operative

Are you looking for a permanent role that can offer a great working environment, variety and new opportunities? 

We have a role for an experienced Stores Person paying up to 26k pa, within a local business who can offer career progression and a chance to grow within. 
You will be a vital stores team within the busy Engineering Company in Poole, responsible for all stores activities, including goods in and dispatch of products. 

This is role is working Monday to Fridays on a day shift with an early finish on a Friday.

To apply for this Stores Person, you must have:

  • Experience working in Stores, Goods in and Dispatch
  • Good communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • PC Literate and able to maintain records accurately 
  • High level of numeracy skills
  • Ability to work alone & also in a team
  • Counterbalance Forklift License would be beneficial 

The successful Stores Person will have the below responsibilities:

  • Ensuring all parts are stored or issued in the correct way to avoid damage. 
  • Picking and kitting 
  • Maintaining accurate records on computer systems as well as completing paperwork quickly and efficiently 
  • Moving materials 
  • Reporting any discrepancies 
  • Keeping the work environment, tidy, clean and organised
  • Following all health and safety procedures
  • Using forklift to move materials and unload deliveries 

Previous stores experience within an Engineering company is essential. This role is paying up to 26k depending on your experience.
