Shift Electrician

We are working in partnership with a leading UK manufacturer that operates at the cutting edge of heavy industrial engineering. As a Shift Electrician, you’ll be a key player in maintaining and improving a wide variety of electrical systems across a dynamic production site.
What You’ll Be Doing:

• Provide electrical maintenance support across a variety of machinery, including forging presses, furnaces, CNC and manual lathes, millers and borers.
• Carry out both preventive and reactive maintenance to ensure high machine uptime.
• Respond to breakdowns efficiently to reduce production downtime.
• Take part in improvement and installation projects, including upgrades to electrical services.
• Mentor apprentices and contribute to the future of skilled trades.

 What You’ll Bring:

• Apprenticeship-trained or City & Guilds qualified in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of electrical principles and fault finding.
• Industrial background – ideally from manufacturing, engineering, or heavy industry.
• Experience working with high-power machinery and site services.
• A proactive, safety-first mindset and a flexible, team-focused attitude.
