This business continues to demonstrate a healthy financial performance and proudly encourage employee progression and development. Our client is now looking for a Progress Chaser to join their team.
As a Progress Chaser, you will be the a very integral part of the production team, you will support scheduling the shop floor ensuring the correct and accurate materials are in the right place and the right time. The role is integral to the company filling order on time.
Progress Chaser Responsibilities:
- Working as part of a team responsible for production planning, master production scheduling and forecasting activities.
- Monitoring work orders and advising internal customers of the progress of the order
- Updating and controlling data within MRP/ERP system and production planning spreadsheets to ensure deliveries are met
- Working closely with other departments
- Leading business planning meetings
- Constitute of production works orders
- Monitoring jobs and highlighting shortfalls
- Updating and controlling data within the MRP/ERP system
- Updating planning spreadsheets, ensuring deliveries are met accurately
Progress Chaser qualifications
Essential
4 GCSE’S (Grade 5 or above) in English and Mathematics or equivalent
Production planning and master scheduling experience
Can do and positive attitude
Strong communication skills
High level of attention to detail
Desire to succeed and progress
Desirable
Demonstrable track record within a production and planning team with experience and knowledge of MRP/ERP tools and systems
