Production Engineer

As a Production Engineer, you will support operations -contributing to the continuous improvement of products in production, creating work instructions, correct tooling, and so on
Key responsibilities as Production Engineer
- You will work to implement 6s across the business.
- Provide engineering and technical support to the shop floor.
- Create work instructions, correct tooling, and JIG’s fixtures (SolidWorks)
- Introduce PMFEW, process maps, DMAIC, and work instructions.
- Calculate estimated assembly times and associated costs.
Experience as a Production Engineer
- Previous experience as a Production Engineer or Manufacturing Engineer.
- HND or equivalent in Mechanical, Industrial or Production Engineering.
- Previous exposure to lean manufacturing methods and quality methodologies such as 6-sigma etc.
- Previous experience with 3D CAD (SolidWorks/Autodesk Inventor) of equipment and tooling.
