Manufacturing Engineer

As Manufacturing Engineer, you will assume the and discharge the responsibility for determining, methods, machines, tooling, and processes required to produce the company’s products.
Key responsibilities as Manufacturing Engineer:
·  Amend planning sheets for the manufacture of components to meet customers requirements including the modification of        process planning, drawing or process change.
·  Preparation and estimation of customers requests for quote (RFQ).
·  Advise on type of equipment required for manufacturing components to customers’ requirements
·  Production and maintenance of local Control Documents, Process Control Documents
·  Estimating, labour hours and material costs, including tooling required for manufacturing components to customers’ requirements
·  Liaising with internal stakeholders, external customers, subcontractors, and shop supervisors
·  Determine methods, tooling and process required for manufacturing of the company’s products
·  Problem solving and liaising with supervisors to resolve technical issues
Experience as Manufacturing Engineer:
·  Recognised qualification – HNC preferred
·  Experience with Aerospace Assembly structures
·  Sheet metal forming
·  Resistance welding
·  Aerospace Sector planning and estimating
·  Composites and machine shop planning experience an advantage
