Machine Shop Supervisor
We currently have a position available for an experienced Machine Shop Supervisor for one of the local area’s largest and most successful manufacturing businesses
Our client is a worldwide supplier of precision manufactured products provided to several of the globe’s largest industries.
As Machine Shop Supervisor, you will provide experience within production and R&D, leading and supporting project teams on continuous improvement of existing processes.
Key responsibilities as Machine Shop Supervisor:
- You will be involved in the new product design reviews, offering input for improvement in the manufacturing process and work flows.
- Lead and nurture a multi-skilled manufacturing engineering team to produce and implement growth, increasing capacity and reducing costs.
- Be involved with creating programs and instructions to allow manufacturers to meet customer requirements.
- Have a focus on continuous improvement.
Experience required as Machine Shop Supervisor:
- HNC/D in Engineering Mechanical engineering or apprentice trained with a minimum of 5 years of work experience in this area.
- 2D and 3D CAD, Ideally SolidWorks
- Organised, high attention to detail.
- MRP/ERP Savvy
- It is imperative that you have experience and an understanding of CNC workshop protocols and processes
