We are looking for an experienced HR Professional to adopt the position of Head of Human Resources for a valued client in the Poole area. This individual will oversee and lead the HR function for a busy engineering manufacturing business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving continuous improvement and development, ensuring adherence to HR laws and regulations, and fostering a strong culture within the organisation.
Responsibilities for Head of Human Resources
– Oversee the management and operations of the HR department
– Ensure compliance with HR laws and regulations across the business as a whole
– Drive continuous improvement and development within the organisation
– Enable positive organisational changes through well-honed change management skills
– Build and nurture a strong positive culture within the business
– Foster positive and encouraging organisational growth
– Communicate effectively between company executives and management teams
– Collaborate Internationally, sharing best practices with counterparts
– Implement performance management, succession planning, and talent management strategies
– Enhance employee performance through training and organisational effectiveness
Qualifications for Head of Human Resources
– Degree in Human Resources
– CIPD Level 5 or 7 certification
– Extensive HR management experience, ideally in a production or manufacturing environment
– Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations
– Leadership skills with an ability to work in an International HR environment
