Welder Fabricator
£17.00 to £20.38 per hour
We are recruiting experienced Welder Fabricators to join a rapidly expanding engineering business. This permanent, full-time role is ideal for a Welder Fabricator who takes pride in high-quality workmanship and wants to work on a wide variety of materials and projects, including aerospace and F1 components.
As a Welder Fabricator, you will work across different alloys and component types, using TIG welding on thin-gauge metals. The Welder Fabricator will follow engineering drawings, maintain precise tolerances, and contribute to a high-standard production environment while having the opportunity to develop new skills.
Key Responsibilities
- TIG weld thin-gauge metals up to 3.5mm
- Fabricate components in stainless steel, aluminium, Inconel, or titanium
- Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
- Maintain high standards of quality and precision across all work
- Work across a variety of jobs and materials, supporting continuous learning and improvement
Essential Skills and Experience
- Proven experience as a Welder Fabricator or TIG Welder
- Experience welding stainless steel, aluminium, Inconel, or titanium
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings
- Attention to detail with pride in quality workmanship
- Willingness to learn and develop additional skills
Benefits
- £17.00–£20.38 per hour, depending on experience
- 4-day working week, Monday to Thursday
- Overtime available Fridays and Saturdays at time and a half
- Over 5 weeks’ paid leave, increasing to 6 weeks with service
