We are currently partnering with an impressive Somerset based Manufacturing site. Our client pride themselves on an extensive portfolio of parts and offer expert precision manufacturing to the highest level across the defence and aerospace sectors. Our client is currently looking for Customer Relations Manager to join their team.
As Customer Relations Manager you will be responsible for being the main point of contact between our client and their customers. You will be responsible for managing assigned orders, making sure that delivery of product is met and that the customers are kept up to date with work progress.
Key responsibilities as Customer Relations Manager:
- You will take the important responsibility of being main point of contact for all communication with assigned customers.
- You will manage internal and external relationships effectively. Internal this will include Administration, Dispatch, Inspection, Quality, Stores, Engineering, Commercial
- You will maintain the portal and orderbook management in collaboration with the Master Scheduler
- You will work to transparent achievable delivery dates and feed back to the customer in a timely manner and manage relevant escalations appropriately.
- You will ensure all transport requirements are organised effectively including sub-con requirement.
Key experience as Customer Relations Manager:
- You will have experience within a fast-paced business environment.
- You will have a good understanding of process and lead times
- You will have a proven track record of operating with integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation.
- You will be a team player
