Location: Poole
Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 per annum  
 
Holt Recruitment is working with a manufacturing company in Poole. They are looking for a Credit Controller to join the office on a permanent, full-time basis.
 
What’s the role?
Credit Controller duties will include:
 

• Providing high-quality customer service.
• Oversee and manage the credit control process, ensuring timely reminders and follow-ups on overdue accounts.
• Keep accurate records of all transactions and client communications related to their accounts.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address any discrepancies or issues concerning accounts receivable.
• Generate regular reports detailing outstanding debts and provide insights into payment trends.
• Perform credit assessments on new clients to evaluate risks before granting credit terms.
• Partner with the sales team to streamline credit approval processes and account management.
• Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) to efficiently manage accounts payable.

What do you need? 

• Previous experience in credit control
• Financial/accounts experience
• Customer Service experience
