CNC Miller Setter / Operator
Salary : £17-18 p/h
Location : Andover
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established precision engineering company in the Andover area, who are looking for a CNC Miller Setter / Operator to join their growing team and increased production capabilities.
CNC Miller Setter / Operator responsibilities:
- Setting and operating horizontal / vertical mills, monitoring the machining process, and making necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to verify conformance to specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on CNC milling machines, such as cleaning, lubricating and replacing worn-out parts to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues or malfunctions that may arise during the machining process.
CNC Miller Setter / Operator requirements:
- Experience in setting and operating either horizontal or vertical mills within a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of machining principles and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Familiarity with a variety of materials, cutting tools, and machining techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
