Overview
Holt Engineering is working in partnership with a leading provider of precision engineering solutions, specialising in high-performance components for the Motorsport industry. We are seeking a skilled CNC Miller with expertise in 5-axis programming to join their dynamic team.
CNC Miller Responsibilities:
- Programming and operating CNC milling machines, primarily using Heidenhain and Hypermill offline programming software.
- Setting up and operating 5-axis CNC milling machines to achieve high levels of accuracy and precision.
- Creating and optimising CNC programs for complex components.
- Ensuring adherence to quality standards and tolerances.
- Collaborating with engineers and other team members to develop and improve manufacturing processes.
CNC Miller Requirements:
- Proven experience in CNC milling, with a strong focus on 5-axis programming.
- Proficiency in Heidenhain control language and Hypermill offline programming software.
- In-depth knowledge of CNC machine tools and cutting processes.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Previous experience working within the Motorsport industry is highly preferred.
