CNC Miller Setter / Operator / Programmer
Salary: £18-20 p/h

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established precision engineering company in the Wokingham area, who are looking for a CNC Miller Setter / Operator / Programmer to join their team and increase production capabilities.
CNC Miller Setter / Operator / Programmer responsibilities:
- Setting, operating, and programming vertical mills, monitoring the machining process, and making necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy.
- Online and offline programming of the mills.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to verify conformance to specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on CNC milling machines, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn-out parts to ensure optimal performance.
CNC Miller Setter / Operator / Programmer requirements:
- Experience in setting, operating, and programming Heidenhain vertical mills within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Experience of offline programming working specifically with Edgecam software.
- Knowledge of machining principles and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Familiarity with a variety of materials, cutting tools, and machining techniques.
- Experience of working within a motorsport or automotive environment is preferential.
