Position: CNC Miller
Location: Tamworth
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, full-time, days

About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced CNC Miller to join a precision engineering company in Tamworth. As a CNC Miller, you’ll program, set, and operate advanced 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC milling machines in a modern, well-equipped workshop. The CNC Miller will play a key role in ensuring all machined parts meet strict tolerances and customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Program, set, and operate CNC milling machines using Heidenhain or Fanuc controls
• Create and modify programs using EdgeCAM or Fusion 360 (other CAM systems considered)
• Adjust offsets, prove out programs, and correct machining errors efficiently
• Work across multiple machines to maintain production throughput and quality standards
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and maintain safe, tidy working areas
• Support fellow CNC Millers to ensure smooth workflow and team collaboration

Requirements

• Strong background in programming and setting with Heidenhain or Fanuc controls
• Solid understanding of CAD/CAM (EdgeCAM, Fusion 360, or similar)
• Confident in reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings
• Self-motivated CNC Miller with excellent attention to detail and precision mindset
