CNC 5-axis Programmer – Great rates of pay!

 

The Company:

 

My client, a specialist engineering company providing expertise in the composites sector for the design of tooling, manufacture, and delivery of composite products are looking for experienced CNC 5-axis Programmers to join their team on a permanent basis. They have a growing order book and as part of their development plan have opportunities in all departments.

The CNC 5-axis Programmer will program and operate their CMS 5-Axis machines, producing composite tooling, patterns, jigs, components, ranging from motorsport teams, high profile niche automotive, aerospace and space customers, using model board/tooling block. This is an opportunity you don’t want to miss!

 

 

CNC 5-axis Programmer Role and Responsibilities:

 

  • Must have experience and a good working knowledge of PowerMill – Training would be available for the right candidate.
  • To be able to programme off-line, with Auto Desk PowerMill – Training would be available for the right candidate.
  • To be able to set the tools and system, enabling good efficient operation of the 5 Axis systems.
  • As a part of our growing Machining Team, you will work to deliver bespoke and high-quality composite components.
  • To support the organisation with our innovation programme.
  • To support our 5S and Total Prevention Management (TPM) system.

 

 

CNC 5-axis Programmer Requirements:

 

  • Good Team worker
  • Logical reasoning with a “can-do attitude”
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, and on multiple concurrent projects.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment, achieving aggressive Motorsport targets.
  • Heidenhain 3 & 5 axis control systems for programming and operating.
  • 3-axis Fusion 360 CAM software, programme and operating.
